All employees at ppedv AG are committed to ensuring that all ppedv AG conferences, trainings & events are always conducted in a constructive and productive atmosphere for all participants, whether paying participants, free participants, speakers, exhibitors/sponsors, students, volunteers. Please note that whenever we mention participants in the Code of Conduct, we are referring to these different groups of participants. We always assume that all participants arrive at our events with the best of intentions and of course respect the needs of all participants. It is not our intention to tell our participants how they should behave. It is a matter of course for us at ppedv AG that all participants behave correctly on site at all events they attend and especially at all ppedv AG events.
Please help us ensure that every ppedv AG event is a place where all participants are welcome and respected, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, disability or personality.
At ppedv AG events, we expressly welcome it when every participant can concentrate on the conference proceedings and the networking opportunities we offer, in particular getting to know each other personally, are the focus of the conference visit. We will not tolerate any kind of harassment from our participants, whether in person or online in forums, blogs, etc. All forms of harassment involving aggressive comments, verbal threats or demands, such as explicit discriminatory images, are unwelcome at our events. Any form of intimidation, harassment, unwanted photography at our conferences, as well as unwanted physical contact or sexual harassment, is strictly prohibited.
Please respect that sexist, racist or other jokes in which minorities are mentioned will be considered inappropriate by other visitors to the conference. Disproportionate swearing and discriminatory jokes are undesirable. Please respect the needs of all participants at our conferences. Of course, it is also undesirable to insult other participants.
We expect all participants to respect our Code of Conduct at all times during the conference. This also applies to all events held in connection with our conferences, even outside the actual conference venue. Furthermore, this also applies to all activities in our online communities, as well as all social media activities, such as Twitter, Xing, WhatsApp, etc.
If participants are asked to stop their unacceptable behavior, e.g. harassment, we expect this request to be accepted immediately. All participants who do not respect our Code of Conduct will be immediately excluded from the conference without the right to a refund of participation fees.
Furthermore, ppedv AG is entitled to exclude these participants from further ppedv AG events in the future.
If there are any complaints from your side, please inform ppedv AG employees on site immediately. We would like to thank all participants of our events for their support, that all participants are treated with respect at all ppedv AG events and that constructive interaction with each other is a matter of course.
Our Code of Conduct is not all-encompassing. We do not wish to establish a set of rules, but rather appeal to the spirit of cooperation that characterizes our various target groups. It is not our intention to list rules of conduct for all possible theoretical cases, rather it is our intention to promote the spirit of cooperation between our different target groups and that all participants of our conferences treat each other with the appropriate respect. We expect all participants to respect this code of conduct and we assume that respectful interaction is a matter of course.
